Services - Blood Glucose and Diabetes Testing

South Casino Pharmacy provides services well beyond the provision of medicines. The testing of blood glucose levels is one of many services we provide to the community.

It is estimated that over 50% of diabetics do not realise they have the condition. Untreated, diabetes can lead to countless medical problems. Often a simple blood glucose test can indicate the possibility of diabetes.

Certain risk factors increase the possibility you will have diabetes e.g. Age over 40, overweight, family history and lifestyle factors.

We are also a sub-agent for the Diabetes Australia's National Diabetes Services Scheme or NDSS for short. This program allows its members to receive diabetic needs such as needles and testing strips at a greatly reduced price.
